GenKey, founded in 2001, developed out of a merger with priv-ID, an off-shoot of Philips’ biometrics research division. Since then, GenKey has delivered large-scale, biometric identity programs globally for governments, public institutions and businesses.
GenKey has offices in The Hague (Netherlands HQ), and Accra (Ghana).

Our international team share common values:
GenKey believes in the highest standards of social and ethical behavior and has a responsibility to the employees serving the company worldwide. GenKey’s Code of Conduct is aligned to the OECD’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
GenKey’s Ethical Values
Our success is defined by the trust our technology fosters in identity management programs and democratic processes, helping strengthen confidence between governments, institutions, and the citizens they serve. Meeting this responsibility requires not only strong technology, but also strong values that guide how we work every day.
Integrity lies at the heart of these values. As our CEO emphasizes: “Every colleague, including myself, partner, and stakeholder we work with, is expected to act with honesty, professionalism, and respect for the highest ethical standards.”
Living these principles requires more than words. It means making responsible choices, being transparent in our actions, and acting consistently with the values we stand for.
